How to wire three RV batteries in parallel
A parallel connection increases the capacity of your batteries while keeping the voltage the same. It’s important to note that you may need a heavier cable for the job since the increased amperage could burn out a less robust set of cables. To wire three AGM RV batteries in parallel, you will need six sets of jumper cables.
Started by linking the positive terminal of Battery #1 to the positive terminal of Battery #2, then connect the positive terminal of Battery #2 to the positive terminal of Battery #3. Once that is done, you can do the same with the negative terminals. Now that you have tripled the capacity of your batteries, use your remaining jumper wires to connect the positive terminal of Battery #1 and the negative terminal of Battery #3 to your application.
